ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Exams Administrator to support the effective co-ordination and administration of examinations across the College. This is a fast paced and detail focused role, requiring excellent organisational skills, strong accuracy and the ability to manage competing deadlines during busy examination periods.

You will work closely with curriculum teams, awarding organisations, students and wider support services to ensure examinations are administered efficiently and in line with awarding body regulations. The role also involves supporting online examinations, preparing examination timetables, processing examination data and assisting with invigilation arrangements.

This role requires a flexible approach to working hours. Candidates must be able to support regular evening work and occasional weekend working during peak periods, open events and operational requirements.

Interviews planned for week commencing 15th June 2026. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

  • Process examination entries, registrations and results accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Prepare and distribute examination timetables, results and examination information to students and staff.
  • Support the organisation of invigilation, examination rooming and online examination processes.
  • Maintain accurate examination records and ensure confidential materials are securely stored and handled.
  • Work flexibly to support operational requirements, including regular evening work and occasional weekends.
  • Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role within a busy office environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and documentation.
  • Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and databases.
  • A flexible and professional approach, including the ability to support regular evening and occasional weekend work.
