ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and industry-experienced Trainer Assessor in Early Years to deliver high-quality training, coaching and assessment to apprentices and work-based learners. You will support learners throughout their journey, working closely with employers to develop skills, drive progress and achieve outstanding outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape future talent whilst contributing to the continued growth and quality of our apprenticeship provision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

  • Deliver high-quality training, coaching, assessment and learner support across Early Years programmes.
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices and work-based learners, ensuring strong progress, achievement and timely completion.
  • Conduct learner onboarding activities including enrolment, induction, initial assessment and programme planning.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with employers to support workforce development and learner success.
  • Monitor learner progress, maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement activities.
  • Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Relevant vocational qualification in Early Years or related subject at Level 3 or above.
  • Assessor qualification with experience delivering training, assessment or work-based learning.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification occupational experience within Early Years.
  • Strong organisational, communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships, employer engagement and learner progress monitoring within a work-based learning environment.
